MIT Growing Robot

MIT Growing Robot

Developed as a solution to the last-foot problem, the MIT growing robot uses a series of deployable links to grow itself in a plane. This allows for it to deploy its end effector towards a hard-to-reach goal, located for instance between drywall or inside a cramped assembly.
